Lincoln Electric System Hosts Online Open House for 2019 Construction Projects

Lincoln Electric System (LES) invites customers to view the 2019 construction projects taking place in and around Lincoln online at LES.com.

“This year’s planned construction projects are needed to ensure LES customers/owners continue to receive a reliable supply of low-cost electricity,” said Dan Pudenz, LES’ vice president of energy delivery. “Some of the projects are new and several are continued from previous years.”

The projects range from underground and overhead distribution lines to numerous upgrades needed for existing power generation facilities.

“LES is working to renew, upgrade or expand our system to stay ahead of any potential issues so we can provide our customers/owners the high level of service they rely on,” Pudenz said.

LES customers can view all construction projects aligned with the city of Lincoln’s Capital Improvement Plan, construction maps and other information on LES’ website. Visit LES.com/construction-projects and click on the lick on the “Major construction projects” hardhat icon.
