Midwest Bank President & CEO Doug Johnson is pleased to announce that plans for a new facility in Pilger are in the works and groundbreaking is planned to take place this summer.  Midwest Bank also plans to keep a branch location in Wisner, where the Pilger branch has been temporarily relocated.  Chris Alt has been named Chief Lending Officer for Midwest Bank and Gene Willers will serve as Senior Credit Advisor while primarily focusing on the redevelopment of the Pilger branch and the community.  Willers currently serves as the Market President of the Pilger location and with the events that took place in June of 2014, he has dedicated his time and resources to the community as the redevelopment process continues to be ongoing.  As Chief Lending Officer, Alt will be responsible for managing the loan portfolio for all Midwest Bank locations, including the Lincoln branch located at 2655 Jamie Lane.
