MIT Images 360 Shoots Virtual Tour of Pinnacle Bank Arena

MIT Images 360 (www.mitimages360.com) has placed a 360-degree walking tour of the interior of the Pinnacle Bank Arena on Google. Now, people who Google the Pinnacle Bank Arena will be able to see an interior virtual tour of the arena’s event level, main concourse and premium level.

“The tour will give Google visitors a rich view of the interior of the Pinnacle Bank Arena,” said MIT Images 360 owner Lori Black.

Black spent about two hours taking panoramic photos of the three levels of the arena, then put them into Google’s software to stich the images into a 360-degree virtual tour. Black also shot several high dynamic range photos of the arena which will appear on Google as well. The tour will be visible on the arena’s Google search, Google Plus and Google Maps pages.

“There are still several people in Lincoln who have never been inside the arena. This tour will take them inside from the comfort of their own home,” Black said.

The Google Street View Trusted virtual tours use the same technology as the outdoor Google Street View except it goes inside businesses. Businesses benefit by enhanced search engine optimization and improved online presence on Google, the world’s leading Internet search engine.
