Nebraska Innovation Campus (NIC, INNOVATE.UNL.EDU) is a proud partner for the annual Towel Drive event. Organized by Don’t Panic Labs and People’s City Mission. The event aims to collect towels for people in need. Towels are always in short supply and this two-week donation drive serves a vital need.
From May 15-26, NIC Partners and the Lincoln community are encouraged to bring towels to The Mill Coffee & Bistro between 8 a.m. – 8 p.m. Additional public collection sites can be viewed by visiting dontpaniclabs.com/towelday. New or used towels in any condition and of any size will be accepted. The towels will be used at the People’s City Mission shelter in Lincoln.
The 2022 Towel Day drive collected 1,706 towels. If you can’t donate towels, help the drive by spreading the word to family, friends, online and in the workplace. People’s City Mission is also accepting monetary donations to go towards towels.
Nebraska Innovation Campus is designed to facilitate new and in-depth partnerships between the University of Nebraska and private sector businesses.
