Nebraska Safety Council Prepares for Upcoming Conference and Trade Show
The Nebraska Safety Council (www.nesafetycouncil.org) Conference and Trade Show is coming up on October 16. Held at Holthus Convention Center in York, NE from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., this year’s event is celebrating the Worker 360° Ripple Effect, an approach founded on the premise of safety and wellness for the whole person, 24/7, on and off the job. It will be an educational day for safety, wellness, environmental, human resource, and other supervisor and manager personnel. Attendees will get inspired by keynote speakers, gain new strategies and practices to bring back to the office, and network with peers. Pre-conference sessions are held on October 15 and offer a deep-dive learning opportunity. The Leadership Development session is led by Talent Plus experts and will help emerging leaders better manage teams from a strengths-based focus. The Nebraska Industrial Council on Environment (NICE) has organized the Environmental Boot Camp, a day offering something for individuals new to the field or seasoned professionals.
