The Nebraska Sports Council (www.NebraskaSportsCouncil.com) recently relocated its main office to 3260 Folkways Blvd. Upon completion of the move, on May 30, a ribbon-cutting ceremony conducted by the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce (www.lcoc.com) formally marked the occasion.
The Nebraska Sports Council is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization with a mission of providing quality competition for amateur athletes of all ages and abilities and promoting healthy and active lifestyle choices. The main programs of the Nebraska Sports Council are Cornhusker State Games, Mud Run, Pumpkin Run and the NE 150 Challenge. These are made possible because of the financial support of more than 60 corporate sponsors, in-kind and cash donations from more than 350 businesses and organizations and the efforts of more than 2,500 volunteers.
