New Haymarket Craft Beer and Cocktail Bar Inglenook Opens Doors

Inglenook recently opened in Lincoln’s Historic Haymarket, offering a unique, upscale new space for guests to enjoy.

The name Inglenook—which in Old English is a combination of ingle, meaning fireplace, and nook, meaning a cozy space offering seclusion—is the perfect description of what this craft beer and cocktail bar is all about. In the original building design of castles, the “inglenook” was a natural place for those seeking warmth to gather. With the stunning, newly installed modern fireplace that’s a focal point for gathering as well as a layout designed to naturally separate groups of 2-6 people, there’s an intimate feel while still maintaining a spacious and open setting overall.

Located at 728 Q Street, Inglenook offers a niche space for those who are looking for a relaxing and inviting atmosphere paired with a great selection of drinks to choose from. With 8 beers on tap and approximately 40 cans and bottles that rotate seasonally as well as by popular demand, you’ll find local brews as well as those from throughout the U.S. and imports. A craft cocktail menu is always available and will also change seasonally, with the newest menu making its recent debut at the end of March. All of the craft cocktails are made with fresh ingredients, with the syrups specially made in-house.
