The Gathering Grove (Tgglincoln.com), a new event space designed for connection, celebration and creativity, is thrilled to announce its grand opening! Located in the heart of University Place, The Gathering Grove offers a versatile space perfect for meetings, events, workshops, trainings, yoga, sound baths and small weddings ranging from 50 to 100 people. Whether you are a university department trying to get off campus, a local business looking for a meeting spot, or a community member looking for a place to throw a celebration event – this is the space for you!
The Gathering Grove invites the community to its public First Friday Art Event on Friday, December 6, from 5 to 8 p.m. This free event will feature local artists, music, refreshments, a raffle and an exclusive view of the venue. Located at 2649 N. 48th St. next to Mojava Coffeehouse, there is free public parking behind Mojava.
“After spending nearly two decades as an event designer working around the globe, I am excited to bring all of that knowledge locally through this beautiful space. The Gathering Grove was created to bring people together,” says Kristin Malek, owner and visionary behind the space. “We’re excited to share it with the community and celebrate the talent of local artists during our First Friday event.”
Whether you’re planning an upcoming event or simply enjoy an evening of art and culture, the First Friday Art Event is the perfect opportunity to explore The Gathering Grove. Reservations for the space are being accepted for 2025 and can be taken via phone, email or Facebook. Learn more at Tgglincoln.com.
