Pogo Card Launches 25th Anniversary Edition, New Pogo App

In November, Pogo Card (PogoCard.com) released the 25th anniversary edition of the Pogo Card, featuring offers from various restaurants, businesses, and golf courses in the Lincoln area. In conjunction, the Pogo App has been completely redesigned and relaunched to bring users a better value and overall experience. The app brings convenient mobile access to many of the same offers as the printed Pogo Card, as well as more than 350,000 national discounts. With app location services enabled, the Pogo App allows users to see discounts near them, wherever they are!

The Pogo Card concept was created in 1993 by Tim Gemar, founder and current owner of the Pogo Card. It began first as the Preferred Dining Card, which featured 40 offers from over 25 businesses. As demand for this method of saving grew, the first “POGO” Card (Purchase One, Get One) was released in 1996 at a price of $25, offering deals from 25 businesses.

Today, the printed Pogo Card includes special saving opportunities from 150+ local businesses and retails for $20. The card is printed with an 18-month campaign cycle to give customers plenty of time to redeem as many offers as possible. Pogo App access is sold as a year-long membership that also includes access via Deals.PogoCard.com, where users can view, print, and redeem offers online. Pogo Cards and Pogo App access are available for purchase online at PogoCard.com and at the Pogo Card office (2655 S. 70th St., STE A). In addition, Pogo Card products are sold throughout the year by local organizations as a fundraising tool.

Pogo Card is an advertising and fundraising company. “Pogo Card” is a registered trademark of Gemar & Associates, Inc.
