Radio Talking Book Service Named Small Business of the Month by Omaha Chamber

Radio Talking Book Service (RTBS.org) was recently honored with the Small Business of the Month Award by the Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce. On March 17, 2017 the award was presented to Ralph Morocco, Chairman of RTBS Board of Directors, Bekah Jerde and Jane Nielsen, RTBS staff. Radio Talking Book Service was surprised and humbled to receive this award. The recognition received will help to build awareness of RTBS and get more radios into the hands of the blind and visually impaired.

Radio Talking Book Service, Nebraska’s Audio Companion, was founded in 1974 and provides human-voiced print information for individuals with visual or physical disabilities that prevent them from reading printed material. RTBN’s 24/7 programming includes newspapers, magazines and books read by volunteers. Please visit RTBS.org if someone you know would enjoy hearing the printed word brought to life on RTBN.
