Raising Cane’s & Strider Bikes Bring First Toddler Racing Series to Lincoln

The Lincoln Raising Cane’s (www.raisingcanes.com) franchise has partnered with Strider Bikes, the world’s largest leading manufacturer and marketer of children’s no-pedal balance bikes, to bring the first ever Strider Cup racing series for toddlers and children to Lincoln, NE. These family-friendly races are for the tiniest competitors and will give small children a chance to put their Strider Balance bike skills to the test on June 11 in the Railyard beginning at 9:30 a.m.

The Strider Cup was specifically created for children between the ages of 2 and 5 who want to compete in a friendly atmosphere against other Strider riders. Children of all sizes and skill levels are welcome to participate. In addition, Strider is working with Special Olympics Nebraska to encourage athletes of all ages with special needs to participate in the race.

All racers will participate in a celebratory podium award ceremony immediately following their main race where they will receive a trophy or medal while posing for their proud parents, supporters and spectators. In addition, all registered riders will receive a Strider jersey, number plate for their bike and a bag of goodies.

Registration is now open at striderbikes.com/Lincoln for $27 or racers can also register on race day for $35 onsite. Keep in mind, this race is for Strider brand balance bikes only.
