Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers is partnering with KLKN’s Channel 8 and Latsch’s for its 7th annual “Stuff the Bus” promotion. The promotion runs July 20 through August 5. Lincolnites are asked to bring new and packaged school supplies to any of the four Lincoln Raising Cane’s locations (48th & R | 14th & P | 28th & Cornhusker Hwy | 58th & Old Cheney), and in appreciation, they will receive a free 22oz freshly squeezed lemonade. Support can also be given by adding any dollar amount to your check when placing your order at the register. Since 2009, the Lincoln community and local Raising Cane’s franchise owners, Jennifer & Justin Jones, have raised thousands of school supplies for children who attend Lincoln’s public and private schools. The collective goal of the event is to raise enough school supplies to ensure all children in our community have the supplies they need to be successful throughout the school year.
Since the first Lincoln location opened in 2006, Raising Cane’s has set out to not just be another restaurant in the community, but to be the community’s restaurant with programs such as this one.
