Ray’s Lawn & Landscape Celebrates 50th Anniversary

Ray’s Lawn & Landscape (www.rayslawn.com), a locally owned and operated company with rich history in Lincoln, NE, is proud to announce that 2016 marks its 50th year in business.

Established in March of 1966, the company will officially commemorate its 50th anniversary with a ribbon cutting and open house on March 31st, 2016. Starting out as Ray’s Lawn Care, which continues to be the base of its operations, the company recently rebranded with the change in its name to: Ray’s Lawn & Landscape. This is a reflection of the company’s expansion over the years based on its growing expertise in landscape design, installation, maintenance and renovation, from the transformation of a front or back yard to the construction of contemporary outdoor living areas. While many things have changed over the years, the company’s philosophy remains the same – no job is too big or too small. The majority of business still lies in complete lawn and grounds maintenance, from lawn mowing and lawn treatments to shrub and tree care, for its longstanding client base.

Ray’s was founded by Ray and Mabel Svoboda, who were joined by all four of their sons for a true family operation. Today sons Ken and Larry Svoboda own and operate Ray’s Lawn & Landscape. Serving both residential and commercial clients, Ray’s takes great pride in its professional approach to customer service with a longstanding tradition of quality, dependable work.
