Ribbon Cutting Held to Celebrate Opening of H.F. Crave’s New Location

JR and Nikke Hollenbeck were overwhelmed by the support they’ve received from the community as they reopened their farm-to-table burger joint, H.F. Crave (hfcrave.com), in the first level of Square at 48 Apartments located at the corner of 48th and Holdrege St. To officially commemorate the relocation, there were grand opening events held the weekend of August 16, including a ribbon-cutting ceremony conducted by the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce and an evening of live music to pair nicely with a variety of local beers on tap.

Moving from south Lincoln, where H.F. Crave first opened their doors, to the north side of town was a big transition for the restaurant. However, they believe that they are still centrally located enough for their loyal customers to be able to come enjoy a delicious meal, and they are excited to be close to UNL’s East Campus and Nebraska Wesleyan University to capture the attention of college students.

The beef and majority of the produce used to create the items on the menu at H.F. Crave come from Hollenbeck Farms, JR and Nikke’s family farm in Elmwood, NE. Their free-range cows are never fed hormones, steroids, or antibiotics—they are truly all-natural from birth. H.F. Crave has taken “fresh” to a whole new level by grinding their beef in-house daily to provide the absolute freshest beef possible.

Come in and enjoy one of H.F. Crave’s signature burgers, topped with farm-fresh ingredients from Hollenbeck Farms and served on a Brioche bun. The restaurant’s menu includes extensive gluten-free and vegetarian options as well. The eatery also offers a bar which features a selection of 10 craft beers on tap from local Nebraska breweries.
