Silverhawk Aviation (silverhawkaviation.com), the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce, the Lincoln Airport Authority and Hausmann Construction held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Tuesday, June 5 at 4 p.m. to celebrate the completion of a new Silverhawk Aviation Hangar located at 1766 W. Kearney Ave. in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Silverhawk Aviation is a full-service aviation company providing aircraft charter services, fractional ownership services, maintenance, avionics, and line services. It has been a fixture in Lincoln for the last 20 years and continues to grow and invest in the Lincoln community.

The new 28,375-square-foot hangar and workspace will house the avionics department as well as 10 light- to mid-sized jets earmarked to service 50-100 businesses in Lincoln and the Midwest. Businesses will have an opportunity to own 10 percent and 20 percent shares of these planes through a fractional ownership program. Using these shares, businesses will be able to grow more quickly and efficiently by simplifying travel and gaining access to over 4,500 airports inaccessible through commercial travel.
