SCORE Lincoln to Hold Small Business Workshop on August 14

SCORE Lincoln (www.lincoln.score.org),  the local chapter of the nation’s largest network of expert business mentors, will be offering the “What’s Involved in Starting a Small Business” workshop on August 14 from 8:15 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the SCC Entrepreneurship Center, 285 S 68th St. Place. The workshop covers different topics essential for any small business to start and to grow. Topics include business plans, traditional and digital marketing, general recordkeeping, an overview of legal structures, general types of financing, and what a lender will want to know, plus business insurance considerations. The full day only costs $49 and includes a boxed lunch. The workshop is offered in cooperation with the Small Business Administration and the SCORE Lincoln Chapter.
