Small Business Workshop by SCORE Lincoln Set for June 11

SCORE Lincoln (www.lincoln.score.org), the local chapter of the nation’s largest network of expert business mentors, will be offering a workshop titled “What’s Involved in Starting a Small Business” on Saturday, June 11, from 8:15 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Resonator in Turbine Flats, located at 2124 Y St. They’ll cover business plans, practical accounting and tax considerations, financing your business, legal structures, traditional and online marketing, and insurance needs – all the essentials that are necessary to start and grow your business. Sessions are taught by an expert in the related field, so come get your questions answered by a pro. The full day only costs $49 and includes a boxed lunch.
