SP Group, P.C. (spgrouppc.com) team members participated in the Sam Osborn Memorial Golf Tournament supporting Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) at Tiburon Golf Club in September. The tournament raised over $200,000 for MDA and congenital muscular dystrophy research.
More than 200 golfers participated in a four-person scramble format which included fun gaming holes, two hole-in-one opportunities, along with other fun giveaways and, of course, prizes for the top teams. Gaming holes included golfing with goggles or with a tennis racket – it was a huge hit with everyone!
SP Group was a hole sponsor for the event, and their team included CPAs Jason Hardy and Ross Reynolds, Team Accountant Clayton Peterson and Payroll Specialist Amy Windle.
The annual event is held to honor Sam Osborn who passed away in 2022 from complications caused by congenital muscular dystrophy. He was the driving force behind this event, encouraging others to “Live a Great Story” by making memories with friends and family using the hashtag #SamsGreatStory.
