SP Group, P.C.’s (spgrouppc.com) Dave Swan, Erica Vossler and Austin Zimmerman recently attended the Woodard Scaling New Heights (SOAR) conference held in St. Louis, Missouri on June 25-28. The annual conference is one of the largest gatherings of accountants and bookkeepers in the country.
During the conference, a variety of breakout sessions were available, covering topics including business coaching, technical accounting training, technology consulting and practice management. In addition, the group attended keynote speakers each day, including Amelia Rose Earhart, who in honor of her namesake became the youngest woman to fly around the world in a single-engine aircraft in June 2014.
The conference provided Dave, Erica and Austin with a unique opportunity to network with other accounting professionals and learn from their unique perspectives and experiences. In all, the goal was to help SP Group, P.C. stay on the cutting edge of developments in the accounting industry and continue to grow their practice in the most efficient and sustainable manner.
