Hub Café (hubcafelincoln.com) loves being a part of the vibrant summer scene by cultivating culinary and community-centered events. Every Friday night, from 5 to 9 p.m., is Pizza & Pints night, featuring a monthly rotating pizza and small-bites menu that’s sure to offer something for every taste. When the weather is nice, Pizza & Pints runs out of the Jayne Snyder Trails Center event space. Pizza & Pints night also features local live music most weeks.

Occurring every Wednesday from May through September (5 to 7 p.m.) is the Hub Farmer’s Market, which invites locals to sell their goods to the public. The Hub Café has a monthly rotating Market Menu of chef-driven, scratch-made dishes that feature fresh ingredients from a variety of the vendors and which serves out on the patio from 5 to 9 p.m. Local musicians play weekly, and the list of scheduled musicians can be found on the Hub Farmers Market Facebook and Instagram.

Hub & Soul—a monthly free concert series now in its sixth year—is the event of the summer and is a collaborative effort between the Lincoln Parks Foundation, the Great Plains Trails Network and other community-focused groups. Each concert takes place on the last Friday night of each month from June through September (5 to 9 p.m.). Each month features opening and main local music acts, special menu items from the Hub Café, food trucks and more around the Union Plaza Amphitheater.

The Hub Café is your go-to spot this summer for food, fun and festivities right in the heart of downtown Lincoln! Learn more at hubcafelincoln.com.
