After the holiday celebrations we find ourselves in the thick of flu season along with the Lincoln community. Sumner Place abides by CDC recommendations for keeping healthy habits to limit the exposure of illness to their residents.
Frequent hand washing, hand sanitizer stations scattered throughout the building and face mask wearing are some of the protocols you will see their staff engaging in. They recommend individuals who have recently been sick or who are not feeling well to come and visit them at a later date, when the community flu rate is down.
For those coming into their building, they do have face masks available and recommend folks wear them. They appreciate the flexibility of visitors and the team. Together, we can keep the senior community safe.
