At Sumner Place (sumnerplacecare.com), they are proud to take care of residents that have served the country in the most dedicated capacity: veterans!
At 3 p.m. on Veteran’s Day, November 11th, Sumner Place will honor current residents, their loved ones and team members that have served the country.
They will present with colors, national anthem, pledge of allegiance and a prayer by our volunteer Chaplain John. The program would not be complete without a certificate and pinning for all veterans.
They are happy to welcome back the Nebraska Brass Ensemble to delight the ears with music for the event, and they will provide refreshments and small treats.
