Sun Valley Lanes Announces Major Expansion, Adds More Game and Entertainment Space
Sun Valley Lanes (www.sunvalleylanes.com), 321 Victory L., in Lincoln has announced the largest investment in its 41-year history, a $4,000,000 expansion and renovation. In order to reflect the operational change of the facility, the new business name will be “Sun Valley Lanes & Games.”
Sun Valley Lanes, which opened its doors in 1977, is expanding its entertainment and recreation offerings by becoming Lincoln’s first Hybrid Entertainment Center. The new Sun Valley Lanes & Games will offer 32 lanes of traditional and Hyper Bowling, an expanded arcade, an expanded kitchen and lounge, an outdoor patio, a new bowling pro shop, a 24-player laser tag arena, three volleyball courts, and a revolutionary new style of mini golf from Creative Works that debuts later this year.
By building a new 6,2500-square-foot expansion, as well as purchasing the adjacent 5,000-square-foot property at 320 West P Street, Sun Valley Lanes & Games will expand on its “elevated bowling experience” by bringing that same elevated experience to laser tag, mini-golf, and volleyball.
“We have become known as a world-class bowling facility, and we wanted to bring that same level of fun to other activities, as well as improve upon our food and beverage options. Besides taking the fun to the next level in multiple activities, we expect to do the same with our food and beverages as well.” Center Owner John Losito stated.
The expansion project has already begun by moving the current entrance to the northeast corner of the original facility, with the new laser tag, arcade, mini golf, and volleyball expecting to open in the late spring of 2020. With this new expansion, approximately 20 new full- and part-time jobs will be created.
