UNICO Headquarters Moves to Downtown Lincoln

UNICO Group, Inc. (www.unicogroup.com) , an insurance and financial services agency, will move its headquarters from 4435 O Street to the second floor of 3 Landmark Centre in downtown Lincoln by early March. The new space will bring UNICO, UNITEL, and Midlands Financial into one location in Lincoln. UNICO also has offices in Omaha, Kearney, and Columbus in Nebraska and offices in Colorado, Indiana, Minnesota, Utah, and Oregon.

UNICO merged with Midlands Financial Benefits in October 2014 to become one of the largest agencies in the Midwest. Today, UNICO employs more than 125 people.

“The new location is an exciting next step for our agency and downtown Lincoln is the ideal spot,” says Scott Nelson, UNICO President. “Having our Lincoln teams together in one space allows for better collaboration, and in turn, provides a more consistent and exceptional experience for our customers and partners. The 32,000 square foot contemporary space includes smart technology meeting rooms, ergonomic workstations, and multiple meeting areas for customers. The space also features a state-of-the-art fitness center—a place that Nelson believes will be beneficial for employees.

“We value employee wellness at UNICO and believe that when employees take care of themselves, they provide higher quality work for our customers. We’re excited to offer the option of being able to hop on a treadmill over lunch and break a sweat,” says Nelson.

UNICO will join Lincoln Chamber of Commerce, Rembolt Ludtke Law Firm, and Senator Ben Sasse’s office in the Landmark 3 Building.
