Venue Restaurant & Lounge recently hosted a Lincoln Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting event on November 26th to introduce their new Executive Chef, John Benton.  This was a milestone for the local culinary and fine dining business scene as it was the first ribbon cutting event to celebrate a new chef.  Venue welcomed many guests including family, friends and local chamber members during happy hour and served veggies with hummus, thyme infused duck fat popcorn and spiced nuts.  Venue owner, Jeff Barclay, also introduced some new activities and events happening around their restaurant and lounge including monthly wine dinners and chef tables, free tea and soda during lunch, and weekly specials such as their $19.95 prix fixe menu Monday through Wednesday with no corkage fee on Tuesdays.  They also unveiled the release of their new menu to be finished by the first of the year.
