Windstream Expands 1-Gig Fiber Internet to Over 4.8K Businesses in Lincoln

Windstream (Nasdaq: WIN), a leading provider of advanced network communications and technology solutions, has announced that Kinetic Business Fiber Internet services, with speeds up to one Gig (gigabit per second), are now available to more than 4,800 commercial locations in Lincoln, with the opportunity to expand further to address the business needs of the market.

This surge of Internet service speeds in Lincoln, offered by Kinetic Business by Windstream, is part of the first wave of one Gig Internet expansion affecting nearly 100,000 businesses in 16 states. Lincoln is among the earliest markets served in this expansion. Almost one-third of commercial locations, primarily small- and medium-sized businesses, across Windstream’s rural footprint will have access to Gig services.

For small- and medium-sized businesses, fiber Internet connections allow Lincoln-based businesses to enable more robust solutions, such as next-generation network, cloud, voice, and advanced security and business continuity plans.
