The best part of Gary and Jeri Wright’s day is finishing a project that helps create jobs.
Since the founding of Wright Constuction (wrightconstructioncompany.com) in 1967 by their father, Dean, the company has built hundreds of structures from homes to restaurants to manufacturing plants. And while the Wright brothers ensure each structure is built to exacting standards, the greatest joy they get comes from a satisfied customer.
“At Wright Construction, we take great pride in helping grow the southeast Nebraska economy,” Gary said. “That’s why our current project, building a manufacturing plant for American Beer Equipment (A.B.E.), is so special.”
A.B.E. is a division of Norland International, a manufacturing company located in Lincoln. Norland has been building and selling bottled-water plants around the world since 1993. A.B.E. started manufacturing craft brewing equipment in 2013, and already has equipment across the U.S., and in countries as far away as England and New Zealand.
“We are experiencing tremendous growth thanks to the popularity of the craft beer industry,” said Norland President Mike McFarland. “A.B.E.’s reputation in the industry has led directly to this new 35,000 square foot building for the expansion of the beer division. It has also allowed us to hire dozens of highly-skilled workers earning a fair wage which helps contribute to the area economy.”
