Cause Collective Sets Pace for Record Number of New Members

Since July, the start of Cause Collective’s (causecollectivelincoln.org) membership year, the nonprofit has had eight new member agencies join! At this rate, they will break their record for number of new members within a year.

“We are so excited to see our membership of nonprofits grow and do our part to help nonprofits become stronger to better achieve their mission, and make Lincoln a better place for everyone in our community,” says Executive Director Jason Varga.

To ensure Cause Collective members always have the opportunity to learn and grow, they organize 20-24 trainings a year on relevant topics, host a monthly executive director roundtable, as well as offer a free annual Board Training. Additionally, an elected official guest at each monthly member meeting and the annual Nonprofit Lobby Day helps the organization connect nonprofits with elected representatives! Beyond that, they also help connect members with the local community through a weekly radio show, community newsletter, and the Board Match page on the website, which advertises open positions for member agencies.
