Kurt brings a wealth of knowledge and experience working in the health insurance industry for over 36 years. His vibrant work history has included time as a licensed agent with Mutual of Omaha; as a manager with BCBSNE, and as co-owner of his own company, Colonial Benefits Solutions.
One of his greatest achievements was the formation of the Educators Health Alliance (EHA), through which Kurt stood as an advocate for teachers, administration, and school board members in all the public school districts in Nebraska.

Kurt has his roots in Lincoln. As a Northeast High School and University of Nebraska-Lincoln graduate, he has a big heart for this community. Although his work has taken him across the state, he’s glad to be back where it all started.
