The Disrupting Traffick (DRT) (disruptingtraffick.org) team prioritizes outreach at local events as they collaborate to bring awareness to the much needed resources available to community members. DRT is always searching for opportunities to share information regarding trafficking, prevention and how families can be prepared for an event that may fall under the traffi cking umbrella.
Awareness opportunities allow DRT staff to not only share the exploitation of women and children that is happening inside our own state but also educates families regarding online safety and prevention as well as available resources.
The Disrupting Traffick Resource Center offers tangible services such as food, clothing, hygiene items and transportation aid.
Open every Tuesday from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m., DRT’s Resource Center at 1625 N Street operates under the powerful fact that traffi ckers exploit unmet needs, and when those needs are met, prevention begins.
