Donate Your Unused, Reliable Vehicles to the CSS Vehicle Donation Program
Catholic Social Services of Southern Nebraska (CSS, www.csshope.org) encourages individuals who have a reliable vehicle that they are no longer driving to consider donating it to their Vehicle Donation Program.
For most of us, having good, reliable transportation is something that is taken for granted. But for some who approach CSS, the lack of transportation has been an obstacle to sustainable employment and providing for their loved ones.
If you are thinking about upgrading to a newer vehicle and your current car is still in roadworthy condition, reliable, and safe to drive, don’t trade it – donate it! The CSS Vehicle Donation Program is in dire need of vehicles. Your donated vehicle can help make a difference in the life of a family or individual in need of reliable transportation. CSS welcomes vehicle donations from private owners and companies. Last fall, Ameritas generously donated two vans. Their generosity helped recently-arrived refugee families. If your vehicle is not in the best condition for you to continue driving it, CSS will still accept your vehicle. It will be sold and the proceeds will assist their work with the poor.
