Down Syndrome Association for Families to Host Teen/Young Adult Cooking Class

The Down Syndrome Association for Families (DSAF, dsafnebraska.org) of Nebraska is looking forward to hosting their teen/young adult cooking class this month. This is a rescheduled event, taking place on Saturday, February 19, from noon to 1 p.m. at Hy-Vee on 5010 O St. Hy-Vee’s Jennifer Dunavan will lead the class in the Hy-Vee Club Room. Items on the menu include guacamole and pico de gallo. Teens and young adults with Down syndrome will have a fun time learning some of these classic recipes.
