DSAF to Host Special Event at Lincoln Children’s Museum May 21
Down Syndrome Association for Families of Nebraska (DSAF, dsafnebraska.org) is excited to announce they are hosting a special event at the Lincoln Children’s Museum on Saturday, May 21, from 6 – 8 p.m. Families are invited to join DSAF in exploring all that the museum has to offer.
The Lincoln Children’s Museum is where adventure takes place for children (and adults) of all ages! The 23,000-square-foot museum engages a child’s sense of creativity, discovery, and play as they unlock new opportunities in every exhibit through experiential learning. Imagination flexes its strengths in the three floors of exhibits available to individuals of all ages. Every child should experience the power of play, which is why the museum provides tools to modify and create the best experience for all children, no matter their need or disability. Free sensory kits are available at the welcome desk that include noise-canceling headphones and different fidgets.
Those who are interested in joining DSAF at the Lincoln Children’s Museum event can register to attend by visiting dsafnebraska.org/event-4785450. Spots are limited to the first 50 registrants, so sign up early!
