First National Bank of Omaha Awards $30K in Impact Grants in Lincoln

First National Bank of Omaha (FNBO, fnbo.com) recently announced its first round of Impact Grants recipients for 2022, including a total of $30,000 in grants awarded to organizations in the Lincoln area. The following grants will support affordable housing and neighborhood stability programs:

• A $10,000 grant to Habitat for Humanity of Lincoln will provide funding for the construction of four affordable homes in 2022.

• A $20,000 grant to NeighborWorks Lincoln will provide support for real estate development activities, including new infill and multi-unit construction, owner-occupied rehabilitation, and workforce acquisition-rehab.

FNBO awarded a total of $880,000,000 in Impact Grants to 44 organizations in in Nebraska, Iowa, Colorado, Illinois, Kansas, South Dakota, and Texas. The grants support programs related to affordable housing and neighborhood stability, as well as entrepreneurship and small business development. In Nebraska and western Iowa alone, FNBO awarded $610,000 in Impact Grants to 28 organizations across the region.
