Friendship Home Seeks Volunteers for 23rd Annual Stuff the Bus Event April 30 – May 1

Friendship Home (www.friendshiphome.org) is partnering with StarTran and Alpha Media radio stations for the 23rd annual Stuff the Bus event. Stuff the Bus is a community wide effort to stuff four StarTran buses full of new items needed by the families served at Friendship Home. Donations from Stuff the Bus will stock their shelves for the coming year, allowing families served at Friendship Home to receive the everyday essential items they need while rebuilding their lives — free from domestic violence. For many of these families, Stuff the Bus is critical to support their needs as they begin this journey.

Friendship Home is seeking volunteers to help hand out needs lists to shoppers and stuff the StarTran buses at all Lincoln Walmart and Sam’s Club stores on April 30 from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. and May 1 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Volunteer opportunities are perfect for families, friends, co-workers, high school/college students, and other community organizations.
