Guardian Angels Homecare is concerned about unused and expired prescription medications. Drugs can be diverted for illegal use, taken improperly, or disposed of improperly causing harm to precious groundwater resources. Guardian Angels teamed with Attorney General Jon Bruning to participate in the Drug Enforcement Agency’s “National Drug Take Back Day.” More than 25 pounds of unneeded drugs were collected at our site and taken for proper disposal. “We were pleased to be able to offer this service as a way to give back to our clients, their families, and the city of Lincoln,” said Kris Beckenbach, Director of Guardian Angels.
