In My Own League (IMOL, www.imolclothing.creator-spring.com), owned and operated by Will Bates, started as a small idea that boomed into something big in 2020. Alongside his friend Aaron Taylor, who helps with brainstorming and creating designs, IMOL came to life. Bates has had a passion for design and clothing for several years and has a vision of bringing local communities together through his brand. Working with athletes is one of his goals, which he has already starting making a reality by partnering with Omaha Stockmen Football and creating retro-driven designs for their coaches and team.
IMOL is focused on two things, with logos to match: courage and nostalgia. Their main logo is a bear representing the courage it takes to step out into the world with your own ideas, the wisdom to learn from others and the leadership it takes to move forward and succeed. The second logo calls out to all the 90’s kids with a Hawaiian Punch themed surfer with a twist, which speaks to Bates vision of creating nostalgic pieces kids at heart and new generations alike will love.
