On Thursday, Sept. 11, Keep Nebraska Beautiful (KNB) (knb.org) hosted its 29th annual golf tournament at Woodland Hills Golf Course, and the event was a resounding success. The tournament welcomed a full slate of 100 golfers, coming together for a day of friendly competition and environmental stewardship.

This year’s outing set a new fundraising record, raising nearly $40,000 to support KNB’s statewide programs and educational initiatives. The achievement underscores the growing community commitment to a cleaner, greener Nebraska and reflects the dedication of sponsors, volunteers, and participants who made the day possible.

Looking ahead, KNB is excited to announce its 30th annual golf tournament, scheduled for September 10, 2026, again at Woodland Hills Golf Course in Eagle, NE. The event promises another day of camaraderie, friendly competition, and support for Nebraska’s natural environment.

As a leading nonprofit, Keep Nebraska Beautiful is committed to enhancing, preserving, and beautifying the state. The organization develops and manages vital programs and builds partnerships with statewide affiliates, private industry leaders, and citizens who share a passion for protecting Nebraska’s environment for generations to come.
