Kristina Hill of HomeShield Roofing Receives 2021 NWIR Rising Star Award
HomeShield Roofing & Exteriors (homeshieldroofingandexteriors.com) is excited to announce that their very own Kristina Hill was selected as the recipient of the 2021 National Women in Roofing (NWIR) World Rising Star Award. This award is given to a woman in the roofing industry who is not only an outstanding leader in her professional life, but in their personal community as well.
Kristina, who began her career in the roofing industry in 2018 as co-owner of HomeShield Roofing & Exteriors, did not have the benefit of professional guidance or mentorship. Realizing that many other women were in the same situation, she created an online Facebook community called “Harness & Heels – Women in Roofing” to support her female contemporaries. As of January 2022, Harness & Heels has grown on social media to over 1,200 members between the United States and Canada – and still growing. Fortune magazine has also recognized Kristina as one of the Forbes Next 1000 up-and-coming entrepreneurs.
