Community Health Charities Announces State Board of Directors Members, Campaign Total

Several area business and community leaders were named to the Community Health Charities of Nebraska (CHC-NE; www.chcne.org) State Board of Directors at the organization’s Annual Meeting on August 22.

The following individuals were elected onto the State Board of Directors: Todd DeFreece, CHI Health, March of Dimes, Nebraska and Western Iowa market representative; Harry DiLise, Nebraska AIDS project representative; Gary George, Hospice House – The Josie Harper Residence, Nebraska Hospice and Palliative Care Association representative; Dawn Gonzales, Centris Federal Credit Union, Susan G. Komen® Great Plains representative; Jamie Gutierrez, Midwest Maintenance, member at-large; Kerry Heinrich, Woodmen of the World Life Insurance Society, Nebraska Kidney Association representative; Brian Kruse, Douglas County Election Commission, member at-large; Tim Langdon, United Healthcare, member at-large; Lindsey Patt, Prairie Health Ventures, member at-large; Dr. Stan Radio, UNMC, JDRF International – Heartland Chapter representative; and Sharon Royers, Brain Injury Alliance of Nebraska representative.

JoAnn Abt, Carson Institutional Alliance, was elected to the Executive Committee. Other Executive Committee members include: Teresa Layton, Chair, Great Western Bank Wealth Management, member at-large; Mike Wade, chair elect, Physicians Mutual Insurance Co., member at-large; Craig Sall, immediate past chair, First National Wealth Management, member at-large; Ralph Dovali, treasurer, Hancock & Dana, PC, member at-large; Erica Hinrichs, secretary, ACI Worldwide, member at-large; Sharon Brodkey, iLuicom, member at-large; Michael Demman, SimplyWell LLC, member at-large; David Gilinsky, Bergman Incentives, member at-large; Larry Guenther, JP Morgan Chase, Alzheimer’s Association Nebraska Chapter representative; Stanley Kathol, Omaha Airport Authority, member at-large; Thomas Macy, Nebraska Medicine, member at-large; Amber Preston, Baird Holm LLP, member at-large; and Loren Steenson, member at-large.

The organization also announced its 2017-18 statewide campaign total, raising $1,791,076 for all Nebraskans affected by chronic disease, disabilities, and end-of-life issues.
