Diabetes Education Center of the Midlands Now Offering Free Educational Programs

The Diabetes Education Center of the Midlands (DECM) (diabetes-education.com) is now offering its accredited diabetes educational programs at no cost to participants. These programs are for anyone wanting to lower the HbA1c and improve their diabetes management. Class participants have lowered their HbA1c by 2% on average.

Classes are held at the DECM facility, located at 2910 S. 84th St. in Omaha. To register or receive more information call DECM at (402) 399-0777. Each participant can bring one support person. Due to limited space, there is a small deposit required to reserve your spot. A gift card for diabetes management materials in the amount of the full deposit will be presented upon completion of the course. These classes are a pilot program and may not last, so register soon!

Diabetes Education Center of the Midlands (DECM) was created in 1984 by a group of healthcare professionals in partnership with several Omaha hospitals.
