Homestead Rehabilitation Center—nationally recognized for quality—welcomed about 75 guests at an Open House and Ribbon Cutting on Thursday, October 23. Homestead Rehabilitation celebrated its one-year anniversary of the new private therapy community as well as being nationally recognized for commitment to quality and receiving the statewide Champion of Care Award. Matt Romshek, Administrator, opened the program with a few remarks, followed by Curt Hesser of the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce. After the brief program and Ribbon Cutting, guests enjoyed refreshments, tours, massages and therapy screens.

“Over the past year, Homestead’s new rehabilitation addition has had an average occupancy rate of 95%,” said Romshek. “Our staff’s hard work and dedication have been and will continue to be what allows Homestead Rehabilitation to deliver the best care possible in our industry.”

The private addition opened in October 2013 offering more private rooms, one of the area’s largest therapy gyms and added amenities such as complimentary Wi-Fi, refreshment bar and cozy visiting areas, to name a few. Homestead Rehabilitation began offering complimentary massage this past summer.
