Joli Esthetics and Massage, located in the Apothecary Building in the Lincoln Haymarket, is pleased to announce the certification of Lesa Karr, LMT, as a “Nurturing the Mother”® Pregnanacy Massage Therapist. Lesa is available by appointment to offer safe and therapeutic pregnancy massage, labor support massage, postpartum massage, and newborn massage instruction. This program includes massage for each trimester and relief for the common discomforts the mother may be experiencing. Labor support massage can be utilized throughout the labor or by training the mother’s partner in how to give a massage while she is in labor. Postpartum massage techniques will aid in the realignment and the recovery of her body. Additionally, Lesa can provide guidance to new parents on newborn massage techniques. Lesa also provides a variety of massage services, including deep tissue and Swedish massage, and is offering classes in Yoga and Shiatsu. Melissa Kepler, the licensed Esthetician, provides a variety of facial, microdermabrasion, and chemical peel services as well as hair removal and air-brush tanning.
