Lincoln Family Medicine Residency Program Residents Eligible for Clinical Studies

One of Lincoln Medical Education Partnership’s (LMEP, www.LMEP.com) programs, the Lincoln Family Medicine Residency Program, is excited to be able to offer their residents the opportunity to be involved in clinical studies through a partnership with Meridian Clinical Research. Their residents will be involved in all aspects of conducting clinical studies that will help to develop better therapies for their patients, as well as people around the world! This exciting opportunity to help conduct clinical research is a huge benefit when completing your residency training with the Lincoln Family Medicine Program.

Clinical research is critical for the development of new medicines, vaccines, and cures. Clinical trials provide a higher level of training and experience for their residents, giving them an environment where they can learn more about illnesses, protocols, and how to provide the best practices, should they have a patient who could benefit from participating in a clinical trial.
LMEP has evolved into a multi-dimensional organization offering a variety of healthcare programs and services. Programs include the Lincoln Family Medicine Residency Program and Clinic, the Lincoln Behavioral Health Center, Nebraska Cancer Research Center, School Community Intervention and Prevention (SCIP), Training for Addiction Professionals (TAP), and the Stepping Stones for Families program. LMEP works in close collaboration and is funded in part by Bryan Health, CHI Saint Elizabeth, The University of Nebraska Medical Center, Lincoln Public Schools, United Way, and many other funders and donors in the region.
