Lincoln Medical Education Partnership Introduces Lincoln Pediatric Hospitalists

On February 1, the Lincoln Medical Education Partnership (LMEP, LMEP.com) announced the formation of Lincoln Pediatric Hospitalists (LPH) as part of its network of programs. LPH is a collaborative effort with Bryan Health, CHI Health St. Elizabeth, Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital, and Children’s Hospital & Medical Center in Omaha. Lincoln Pediatric Hospitalists provides 24-hour in-hospital care of pediatric patients, from newborn to age 18, at Bryan Health, CHI Health St. Elizabeth, and Madonna.

“The support and collaboration we are receiving with these four excellent regional medical centers allows us to leverage our pediatric expertise and further enhance the care provided to children and their families in Lincoln,” said LMEP CEO Dr. Al Linderman.

LPH benefits the medical community by providing readily available access to pediatric specialists who have the ability to quickly react and address problems as they arise. It also improves communication and information sharing with the medical team involved in the patient’s care and expands their ability to care for children with a wide variety of medical issues that require hospitalization.

The mission of the Lincoln Medical Education Partnership is to provide exemplary patient healthcare and the additional resources that individuals need for successful and sustainable health. For more information about LMEP and the new Lincoln Pediatric Hospitalists, visit LMEP.com.
