Nebraska Hematology-Oncology Welcomes Dr. Eric J. Avery in Lincoln, NE

Nebraska Hematology-Oncology (NHO) is pleased to welcome Dr. Eric J. Avery to its team of oncologists. A native of Grand Island, Nebraska, Dr. Avery comes to NHO from the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC), where he earned a Doctor of Medicine in 2006. He continued his training there in Internal Medicine, and finished his Fellowship in Hematology & Oncology in June of 2012. While on the staff at UNMC, Dr. Avery was recognized as Rookie of the Year in 2007, earned the Senior Resident Award in 2009, and served as Chief Fellow last year.

Dr. Avery will begin caring for patients on August 1.
