Nebraska Safety Council Announces New Emotional, Holistic Wellbeing Courses

The Nebraska Safety Council (NESC, www.nesafetycouncil.org) recently announced the launch of a four-hour “Addressing Emotional Wellbeing at the Workplace” course and a four-week Holistic Wellbeing group. Addressing Emotional Wellbeing at the Workplace will cover how to support your employees in areas such as creating policies, providing resources, and cultural and physical environment changes. The class will feature education as well as a group discussion about what will work best for your specific company’s needs. The next available training is slated for April 9 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

As many employers are concerned about their employee’s emotional wellbeing, NESC created a new course for employees called Holistic Wellbeing. This is a four-week education-and-support group meeting that will meet virtually one night a week for 30 minutes. Curriculum is developed and taught by Katie Bardsley, PLMHP and Ashley Montag, PLMHP, mental health therapists and founders of Restoration Psychotherapy & Wellness. Classes will be available to join in April.
