People’s Health Center (www.phclincoln.org) is excited to announce that it is offering urgent care services at a new location: People’s Quick Care at 2246 O Street (north side of 23rd and O Streets). A ribbon cutting ceremony with the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce was held to commemorate the opening of People’s Quick Care on October 1st.
People’s Quick Care offers walk-in treatment for everyday illnesses and injuries. As an urgent care center, People’s Quick Care helps patients who may not be able to see their physicians or don’t need true emergency treatment. The services at People’s Quick Care are open to anyone needing urgent care treatment; you do not need to be a patient of People’s Health Center to come to People’s Quick Care. No appointments are necessary.
People’s Quick Care is open Monday – Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Evening and weekend hours will be added in the near future. There is a $45 charge at the time of the visit (anyone who does not qualify for the sliding fee will be billed an additional $30); all X-rays and lab fees will be billed to the patient. All types of insurance are accepted, including Medicaid and Medicare.
People’s Health Center (www.phclincoln.org), a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization that was established in 2003, is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) as designated by the Bureau of Primary Health Care.
