Players Rush the End Zone to Raise Funds and Awareness for the Alzheimer’s Association

Lincoln welcomes the excitement of the Alzheimer’s Association’s (www.alz.org) Blondes vs. Brunettes flag football, a volunteer fundraiser driven by young women.  The two teams, divided based on the age-old rivalry between blondes and brunettes, aim to increase awareness of Alzheimer’s disease among a new generation. Funds raised will benefit the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association.

The inaugural football game will be held in the spring under “Friday Night Lights.” The Lincoln BvB team will face off against the Omaha BvB team in a rivalry fundraising competition, to take home bragging rights and a trophy.

If you are interested in playing, sponsoring, or volunteering, please contact Megan Myers at (402) 420-2540 Ext. 8266, or email mmyers@alz.org.
