Two Tabitha communities have again been named among the “Best Nursing Homes in Nebraska” by U.S. News & World Report. Included in the 40 communities ranked for the state’s highest quality, compassionate Elder Care in 2013 were Tabitha of Crete and Tabitha-managed Blue Valley Nursing Home in Hebron.  This is the third consecutive year for the two Tabitha communities to be noted as the best in Nebraska.  Report rankings were established based on data from the federal Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Through a series of regular state inspections, CMS ranks each nursing home in the country—more than 200 in Nebraska alone—on a scale of one to five stars, and all 40 communities recognized in Nebraska received an overall score of five stars.  Tabitha of Crete is a 40-bed community offering skilled nursing and long-term care to elders in a small-town setting. Tabitha-managed Blue Valley Nursing Home in Hebron is a 64-bed community where care staff sets high standards and aims to provide quality care with a family approach.

As a nonprofit organization serving 28 Nebraska counties, Tabitha’s love embraces a society where everyone is valued and empowered to live life to the fullest, with compassionate at-home support, innovative living communities, and exceptional rehabilitation, healthcare and hospice services.
